Bruce Tufts runs the fresh water research centre at Queens University and knows a thing or two about catching and releasing fish alive. He’s also looked inside more than his fair share of fish to learn just what makes them thrive. As climate change continues to shrink the ice-pack in Canada’s Arctic, opportunities for commercial fishing expand. Naturally, the temptation to capitalize on this relatively untapped wild bounty is great, but will the fishing be done sustainability?
